I began my journey in 2016 after deciding to want a better snack for backyard birds. After a quick trip to the feed store, I started looking at bags of dehydrated meal worms. This seemed to be the fit. After obtaining my first colony of mealworms and rearing them for several years, I have discovered their remarkable ability to restore ecosystems, to be utilized as a value-added component that can be retrofitted in waste stream valorization. With an extensive scientific and technical background demonstrated by my credentials in Biochemistry and Chemistry respectively (B.S., M.S. and M.Phil.), my foray into entrepreneurship was natural. Mastery of my academic studies are reflected by the numerous awards and honors bestowed over the years even for teaching. During my graduate studies, I gained substantial teaching experience and contributed to curriculum development for various science and science-related courses.
