U N D I L U T E D
Welcome to Undiluted!

My name is Tanya.

I am your storytelling scientist and entrepreneur bringing underrepresented founders and our allies from across the globe to the forefront.

My lived experiences and entrepreneurial journey inspired me to create this podcast. In the startup and innovation world the status quo of venture creation has been one that primarily benefits the privileged. I believe it is time we disrupt venture creation and venture fundraising itself.

How can we make entrepreneurship more accessible to the aspiring disenfranchised especially those outside traditional innovation hubs? What specific resources including financial would need to be created, improved and ultimately implemented? It is my intention to bring you relatable stories of innovators on the quest for solutions to pressing problems. Non-dilutive funding will be centered here, with select discussion of dilutive sources including little to no discussion of venture capital.

This will be a weekly podcast where in about 40 minutes or less we will chat with a founder, funder or ally. At times it will be just me sharing a commentary on a related topic.
Join me! Let's build and scale our companies our way to serve our best interests.

KOFRASS.COM
I’m proud to support Tanya’s "Undiluted" podcast, in collaboration with Samet Kaplan and Wayne Angel, as they build a platform dedicated to exploring the immense potential of biomass.
As someone deeply invested in both environmental sustainability and workforce development in California, I see this podcast as a key vehicle for sharing knowledge, fostering partnerships, and promoting tangible opportunities within the biochar and biomass sectors.
Through my work at KOFrass.com and the Biochar Coalition, we aim to bridge the gap between innovation in biomass processing and practical applications in forestry, agriculture, and conservation.
By utilizing platforms like "Undiluted," we hope to not only elevate global discussions on biomass but, also highlight local initiatives and workforce development efforts here in California. Together, we can drive sustainable practices, create jobs, and further biochar’s contribution to a healthier planet.

“To Whom It May Concern”
I have the pleasure of collaborating with Tanya Smith on various projects for several years, and I am thoroughly impressed by her expertise and dedication. She brings a deep understanding of methane emissions and monitoring technologies, as well as renewable energies and agricultural practices, providing invaluable insights that have aided our work.

Tanya has demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Her ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable recommendations has aided Hago Energetics.

What truly sets Tanya apart is her passion for environmental sustainability and her commitment to leveraging technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. I would highly recommend Tanya for any future endeavors related to promotion of environmental sustainability.

Hago Energetics Benefit Corporation
Tanya Smith is the founder and CEO of RegenX (formerly Nitrolytics), an early-stage startup, and its sister non-profit, The Forgotten Farmer Foundation™. The for-profit is creating solutions at the intersection of artificial intelligence, hardware, and biotechnology to help make regenerative farming mainstream. The non-profit aims to maximize profitability in small farming through regenerative practices.

Inspired by her own experiences, Smith is also on a mission to protect the brilliance of underrepresented innovators from exploitation and theft. Though formally educated in Chemistry—holding B.S., M.S., and M.Phil. degrees with numerous awards—she is far from one-dimensional. Having had to turn her obstacles into opportunities and her struggles into her superpowers, she has skills and insights no Ivy League education could ever provide.

“As a visionary leader, I want to trailblaze location-agnostic and planet-positive possibilities for economic empowerment of the disenfranchised.”
